We’re looking for family business owners, former food or restaurant operators, area managers, or anyone with a sincere passion for meat and community involvement who wants to bring a Southern Steer to their community.

We’re looking for both single and multiple unit owners, and if you have experience managing a team, this could be an amazing opportunity.
During 2020, our same-store sales were up 80% over the prior year, and post-COVID, our sales plateaued up at 40% over normal. It is not uncommon for us to have lines out the door on our super-popular sale days of the week.
Each store has amassed a customer list of over 25,000 people who opt in to regular emails about our specials of the week. It is also not uncommon for customers to come several times a week or come weekly to fill up their freezer.
With our low labor and reasonable build-out costs, you can be up and running quickly in this much-needed and potentially lucrative business.
There’s also terrific work/life balance. Our butcher shops open in the late morning and close in the early evening, which means that you’ll have plenty of time to spend with your family, be there for your children, and do more of what you love to do.
